Following industrial action by MLSA members in MAy 2022 in pursuit of parity of pay and career progression with biochemist colleagues, an assessment of medical scientist grades was conducted by Conal Devine in autumn 2022. The Medical Scientist Grades Assessment Report (Devine Report) was finally issued in January 2023.
